Project Description and Objectives:

Air pollution with VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) is an increasing matter of interest in the public discussion of  air pollution. More than 60 % of the VOC emissions are caused in traffic. This research is an evaluation of possible alternatives.

Which alternative  fuels can cause a reduction of VOC emissions?

Preliminary or Final Results:

The improvement of conventional vehicles can reduce the VOC dramatically. The use of alternative drive conceps could cause a further reduction, especially of the NMVOC.
